I finally got around to install the latest version of Ubuntu Linux, 9.10, dubbed Karmic Koala. So far, I really, really like the improvements to the UI. Even the login window feels more modern and sleek. The fonts and colors are vibrant and look really clean.
I’m just playing around with it and it hasn’t even been 2 hours since I installed it but I’m really digging it! Aside from the fact that I had to manually install the wireless drivers, all went smoothly with the install.
